If you’re in high school but struggling a little bit to keep up in your subjects, there’s nothing to worry about! There are plenty of alternative pathways to take that will get you to where you want to be. Learning in a classroom setting doesn’t always work for everyone - that’s why here at Tactile Learning we do our best to accommodate to all learning types in our courses.
Types of Courses You Can Do
If you’re not sure what industry you want to work in, we offer a range of workshops and short courses that will give you a taste of the hospitality, automotive and leather production industries. Our Barista Short Course takes place over two days, where you’ll learn all about coffee making and the hospitality industry basics. Our workshops include Car Maintenance, Cooking, Make Your Own Wallet, and more. We have an option for everyone! Explore our workshops here.
If you have a bit of a better idea of where you’d like to work or what industry you’d like to learn more about, we offer Certificate Courses in Leather Production, Hospitality and Automotive Preparation. Certificate Courses take a longer to complete (6 months +), but leave you with an accreditation upon completion. Explore our Certificate Courses here.
How to Get Started
To get started with a workshop, short course, or certificate course, you can talk to your school’s vocational education coordinator. They’ll be able to help you get started and find the right learning mode for you!
