Australia has a thriving cycling culture and has a growing demand for qualified bicycle mechanics. If you are passionate about bicycles and want to work in the industry, this qualification is a great starting point. Learn the basics of working on, adjusting and repairing bicycles. This course also contains the foundational knowledge of the automotive industry including tools, equipment, systems and components.

Career Pathways

Upon completion of this course there are opportunities to pursue an apprenticeship/traineeship in either bicycle mechanics or car mechanics. You could also consider a Certificate III in Bicycle Workshop Operations.
